SPORT DESCRIPTION: Practical Police Combat (PPC) 1500-point course. All events are unisex.
Classification: Competitors without classification cards must enter in Marksman and then classified according to their first 90 rounds.
Competitors who have NRA Classifications must enter in the following CPCA Classifications.
Canadian Police Combat Association Classifications will be used as follows:

The team classifications will be based on Table 1 of the CPCA Rule book and will be the Team Average of team members classifications from the individual event.
Weapons and Ammunition:
Current NRA Rules shall apply to this event, except for the awards formula and the eligibility of competitors. These two areas will be governed by the Can-Am Police and Fire rules as covered in General Sports Rules. Where there is a conflict between NRA rules and Can-Am Police-Fire Games rules, the Can-Am Police and Fire Games will be used.
Competitors may use a duty weapon or approved handgun. Competitors must supply their own ammunition.
No competitor will be allowed on the firing range without safety equipment comprised of a vest, and ear and eye protection authorized by the Equipment Control Official. Each competitor shall bring his/her own safety equipment and they shall be checked at the same time that the triggers are weighted and tagged by the Equipment Control Official.
Ballistic Vest: Threat Level 2 as outlined by the National Institute of Justice.
Eye Protection: Any polycarbonate lens what will deflect casings from both handgun and rifle rounds.
Ear Protection: Any ear protection if the Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) does not exceed 33 decibels.) For safety reasons, competitors must be “qualified” with their firearm and familiar with range rules and safety (i.e. formal agency training).
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO A VEST, YOU MUST NOTIFY THE EVENT COORDINATOR AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION.

MATCH 1: STANDING WITHOUT SUPPORT POSITION
MATCH 2: KNEELING AND STANDING AT 25 METERS
MATCH 3: SITTING, PRONE AND STANDING AT 50 METERS
MATCH 4: STANDING POSITION WITHOUT SUPPORT 25 METERS
(NOTE: Semi-automatic pistols, as defined in Rule 3.3. and 3.4. the words “all firing double action” does not apply to semi-automatic pistols – CPCA)

**Total rounds shot in Matches #1 through #4 is 90 shots.
**Total rounds shot in Match #5 is 60 shots.
**Total Course of Fire for Matches 1 through 5 is 150 rounds, for a total possible score of 1,500 points.
TEAM EVENT COURSE OF FIRE
