SPORT DESCRIPTION:
This is a timed race around a closed course of 1.8km per lap on smooth pavement. The event will held a local venue that has been hosting Crit Racing for 30 years. The 1.8 Km closed loop is a paved trail with 5 sweeping turns and a hill in the back. Perfect for family and spectators to watch from anywhere inside the track area. With onsite washrooms and a Pizza bar, this is a great venue for all.
All riders must attend the pre-race briefing (rider’s meeting) held at the staging area prior to the competition. A protective helmet complying with current safety standards (SNELL ANSI / ASTM Certified), provided by the rider, shall be worn at all times when warming-up or racing. A rider will be disqualified if he/she removes the helmet while on the bike. No clip-ons/aerobars allowed.
